Life as a parent is not easy… but it is rewarding.
“We’re all in this together”, and, “We’re there from the start”, are not just mantras of Team mom-n-dad. They are a way of life, a philosophy, an attitude. We believe that good people are grown from good kids. And good kids are born out of love and support from their parents, grandparents and mentors. Kids that stay active and happy become productive members of society. We see it day in and day out. And the best way for them to do that is with support.
As much as sponsors can take athletes to the next level; it’s the parents who made the dreams reality in the first place. From peewee football to kindergarten beauty pageants, it’s always the parents who are, “There from the start.” Nike never grabbed a seven year old boy and said, “We’re gonna make you happy.” But we, as parents, do it every day.
Napoleon Hill said: “Anything the mind can perceive and believe it can achieve.” But achievement is rarely the work of one person. It is born out of committee and that committee is made up of the parents and grandparents and step dads and step moms who make it a reality.
We at Team mom-n-dad never focus on the negative. There is plenty of that to fill the internet and ultimately our minds. Instead, we focus on what is good, strong and productive in life.
And that, very simply is accomplished through support.
